MEET SARAH
Hello! I’m Sarah Brown! I’m a Midwest girl, born and raised in southwest Michigan where I still live today (St. Joseph, Michigan to be exact – right along Lake Michigan!). I’m married to the love of my life, Jake, and am a mom to two adorable children, Abby and Alex. I believe in God and good manners, I treasure family traditions (both old and new), and I’m passionate about beautiful typography and pretty paper. I jump at the chance to host a party for family and friends. And nothing brings me more joy than baking cookies on a Saturday afternoon with my daughter.
Background
I’ve been designing stationery since 2008: working with a range of individual clients and large retailers. While I enjoy the variety of freelance projects, working one-on-one with clients is what truly ignites my creative spark. So in 2012, I founded Banter & Charm, where I’m able to bring my love of design and infatuation with paper goods together. I offer a full range of letterpress and foil stamped wedding stationery, along with a collection of stationery for everyday occasions and milestones (like birth announcements, party invitations, Christmas cards, and holiday photo cards). While my studio is based in Michigan, I work with clients worldwide through my online shop.

Whether you can’t decide on a photo, you need advice on colors, or you just don’t know where to begin, I’m here for you.I personally prepare a digital proof for every order. You don’t have to fumble with clumsy online customizers and cross your fingers that your cards will print the way you intended. I’ll email you a mock up of your chosen design, personalized with your photo and names. I can even show you more than one photo, and let you decide which looks best! Your holiday cards aren’t printed until you love the way they look. I can also print your envelopes to make mailing a breeze! All you need to do is stuff, seal, stamp, and send them on their way.
Along with holiday stationery, I also offer a wedding invitation collection through Banter & Charm. I continue to freelance for Minted, Hallmark, and Zazzle. My work has been featured in Brides magazine, Better Homes & Gardens, HGTV Magazine, and on Style Me Pretty, Oh So Beautiful Paper, and Pizzazzerie.
